DOT drug testing, at your yard
Federally regulated urine specimen collections performed to 49 CFR Part 40, on your site, in Lansdale and across Montgomery County. Built around the way trucking actually runs: a driver should not lose a shift to a collection.
Collections we perform
Every DOT test type that calls for a urine specimen collection:
- Pre-employment — before a safety-sensitive employee performs their first duty.
- Random — as your consortium or policy selects them.
- Reasonable suspicion — when a trained supervisor has made the determination.
- Post-accident — where the accident meets the criteria for testing. These are on a clock, and a mobile collector is how that clock gets met.
- Return-to-duty and follow-up — as directed by the Substance Abuse Professional.
How a Part 40 collection is handled
- Photo identification checked before anything else.
- A private collection area, prepared as the regulations require.
- Federal Drug Testing Custody and Control Form completed at the collection, not afterwards.
- Specimen split, sealed and initialled in the donor's presence.
- Temperature checked within the required window, and recorded.
- Shy bladder, refusal and out-of-range situations handled by the procedure the regulation sets out — not improvised.
Who performs the collection
Every collection is performed by Jennifer Porter, RN, the owner. She holds qualification as a DOT urine specimen collector under 49 CFR Part 40, including the mock collections that qualification requires, and has completed training in Part 40 foundations and non-DOT collection procedure.
That matters for a practical reason. A collection that is not performed correctly can be cancelled, and a cancelled test is one you pay for twice.

What we do not do
Being straight about this saves everyone a phone call. We perform collections. We are not a laboratory, we are not a consortium or third-party administrator, and we are not a Medical Review Officer.
- Specimens are analysed by a certified laboratory, not by us.
- Regulated results are reviewed and released by a Medical Review Officer.
- If you need a random selection program run for you, we will point you to someone who does that.
If you already work with a TPA or a consortium, we can collect for you — tell us who they are when you book and we will send the paperwork their way.
