Workplace testing, on your site
If your business is not federally regulated, your drug testing runs on your own written policy rather than on 49 CFR Part 40 — which means you have far more say in how it works. We collect to whatever your policy specifies, at your workplace.
When employers call us
- Pre-employment — before a new hire starts.
- Post-incident — after an accident or a near miss on site.
- Reasonable suspicion — when a supervisor has documented observations.
- Random — where your policy provides for it.
- Periodic — annual or scheduled testing written into a contract.
Construction, trades, warehousing, staffing and small businesses make up most of this work. Several of our customers test because a contract or an insurer requires it, not because they want a program to run.
How it differs from DOT testing
Non-DOT collections are not bound by the federal procedure, so the panel, the cut-off levels and the consequences are set by your policy. That flexibility is the point — and it is also the part that goes wrong most often.
- You choose the panel rather than being handed a fixed one.
- Chain of custody still matters. A result you cannot evidence is a result you cannot act on.
- Your written policy is what makes the test defensible. If you do not have one, say so when you book.
We will not tell you what your policy should say — that is a decision for you and your employment counsel. We will tell you plainly when what you have asked for does not match what your policy allows.

Also available to individuals
Not every collection is for an employer. People book us privately too — for a job application, for a court or custody matter, or simply for their own peace of mind. Call and tell us what the result is for, because that changes how the collection needs to be documented.
